Material & durability
The material shapes both the look and the engraving. Our wallets and gift sets are made of Italian nubuck leather (soft, matte, develops a patina over time), the lockets are gold-plated titanium steel, and the bracelets are stainless steel. On light leather, the line engraving shows up darker; on dark leather it's more subtle — it doesn't replace colored printing. The laser engraving is worked into the material and won't wear off. The piece needs almost no care: wipe leather with a dry cloth and occasionally use colorless leather balm; wipe metal with a soft cloth.
